Eureka Springs Downhill at Lake Leatherwood City Park

7 Downhill Trails at Lake Leatherwood City Park: All Downhill trails are about a mile in length.  To access the Downhill trails, parking available at Leatherwood Sports Field or at Miner’s Rock Parking Lot and coordinate a shuttle ride up to the entrance of the Downhill trails off of Hwy 62W.  Shuttle Service available.

In town Trails are available for year round use. In the heart of downtown, walk along Upper Spring Street to view the Historic Homes, Shops and Natural Springs. As you past the Post Office (built in 1879) you can view Sweet Spring. Climb up the stairs next to the spring and continue on the path to the right which will lead you up the back neighborhood of Kansas Street.  There you can pass the Old Red Brick School house built in 1890.

Black Bass Lake is a peaceful park with trails close to town that feels miles from anywhere. Only 1.1 miles away from the hotel that includes 5 miles of hiking trails along the bluff line as well as around the lake and historic dam.

Lake Leatherwood City Park is 2.5 miles drive from the Crescent Hotel and includes over 25 miles of hiking/biking trails as well as kayaking, fishing, camping and a playground. Lake Leatherwood City Park is a place of natural serenity encompassing 1,610 acres of the Ozark Mountain countryside which includes an 85 acre spring-fed lake and a hand-cut native limestone dam that you can walk across.

Eureka Springs Bark Park
Adjacent to Harmon Park is the Eureka Springs Bark Park.  Offering a fenced shaded area for pets to roam freely with owners.  There is a fenced section for large dogs and a separate fenced area for smaller dogs.

Eureka Springs Playground & Skate Park
Located in Harmon Park, the playground is perfect for kids 12 and under.  Slides, swings, whirl with convenient facilites for parents that include restrooms, seating and parking.  The playground is also home to the Eureka Springs Skate Park.
