2018 Blues Weekend Headlining Show

Top Ranked Blues Artist- John Nemeth & The Blue Dreamers

“Don’t try to snatch him back and hold him, he’s a man on the move.”  That’s the opening line of John Németh’s bio on his website, JohnNemeth.com.  And one of the places his “move” will find him is on the Barefoot Ballroom stage of the 1905 Basin Park Hotel, Friday, June 15 when he brings two big performances headlining the 2018 Eureka Springs Blues Weekend.  This year’s “weekend” runs from Thursday, June 14 through Sunday, June 17.

Németh, a native of Boise, Idaho, and winner of two Blues Blast awards, has already established himself among the very top ranks of blues musicians and modern soul singers.  Influenced by his relocation to San Francisco, he fearlessly crushes all barriers of style and genre, a sound that defies all the usual pigeonholes. Drawing from his strong influences in blues and R&B, as well as contemporary sounds in hip hop and rock & roll, he creates music that is personal as well as universal.

It is said that Németh’s songs are groove and melody-driven, laced with thoughtful lyrics and nuanced humor. He creates his songs from melodies and phrases he draws from the sounds of life, from early-morning Memphis songbirds to the din of the city backed up by his great touring band, the Blue Dreamers – Danny Banks on drums, Matthew Wilson on bass and guitar, and Johnny Rhodes on guitar.

Now residing in Memphis, Németh continues to be one of the hottest stars in the musical firmament, touring nationally and internationally with his Memphis band, taking the world by storm.  That storm thunders onto the top-floor stage of the Basin Park Hotel at 7 and 9 o’clock on Friday night, June 15.

General admission ticket prices for each performance are $15 per person or a $20 ticket allows attendance at both performances.  Thirty VIP Seating tickets, per performance, are $30 each. All tickets may be purchased in advance at ReserveEureka.com/attractions/johnnemeth.
