Our service team is made up Servers, Bussers, Hosts and Bartendars committed to delivering a service experience that exceeds your expectations. These professionals deserve a year-round wage that is both balanced and rewarding. At the Basin Park Hotel, we have created a new compensation model for our service team that shares gratuity but also guarantees a hourly wage in all months softening the highs and lows of service work. This model does not put additional burden on you, the customer; instead it redevelops job duties and shares traditional revenue across the entire front of the house service team. This new model is simple but different. It includes:
1. On your check you will see that an industry standard 18% gratuity has been automatically included.
2. This is a gratuity and will be allocated and paid to your front of the house service team: Server, Bartender, Host, Busser.
3. If service exceeds the standard, you can reward your server wiht an additional gratuity that will remain with your server.
4. If service misses your expectation, we will make it right. Without question, the manager will reduce the gratuity to your preferred amount.
All gratuities collected are paid to the servie team. The Hotel, Management or Back of the House employees are not eligible or included.
