Eureka Springs’ tallest building, the seven-story 1905 Basin Park Hotel located here in the center of downtown, has completely restyled for 2021.  The arts and crafts ambiance that has greeted guests in the lobby has been extended to each and every sleeping room.  This full-house transformation includes paint, furnishings and compatible accents.

Under the creative eye of Amaranthine Creative Interior Design various elements were carefully chosen and utilized.  From the arts and crafts color palette of Sherwin Williams, each room was been repainted by Memo’s Paint with this palette’s rich, deep earth tone colors.  Accenting the new wall colors are exquisite Bradbury & Bradbury artistic wallpaper friezes.

Amaranthine’s creative touch extended throughout each sleeping room: Suites, Spring Street-view rooms, premium rooms, and VIP suites.  All of the hotel’s antique furnishings were pulled then poignantly chosen with expert replacement throughout the rooms to ensure not only the arts and crafts look and feel but to ensure that each room became more spacious and welcoming.  On those fresh, new walls, many rooms were accented by mirrors, to enlarge a room’s feel, and the photographic artwork of local artist, Edward Robison III.  Additionally, each room is now illuminated by Quoizel Tiffany-style lamps and lighting.

“We were honored to have the opportunity to recreate authentic.” stated an Amaranthine spokesperson.  “This beloved downtown hotel structure now can boast a consistent color palette, true to its design period and one that pairs together style, guest service, offerings and programs.  The Basin Park Hotel is once again, a downtown destination.”

As stated, the new look, new feel of the Basin Park’s sleeping rooms dovetails perfectly with the hotels newer additions of Jack Rabbett’s Whisky Bar and its adjacent J.R.’s Game Room.  The bar features a living room atmosphere with plush seating; fireplace; two professional pool tables; and hardwood walls, floor and accents.  The game room, with its wide variety of hands-on recreation diversions, was created to offer a safe Covid activities center and now has grown into a permanent feature for hotel guests and visitors.

The hotel’s Spa1905 is open seven days a week.  2021 Enhancements include an expanded Spa Deck featuring a hot tub and a huge fire pit surrounded by comforting outdoor seating and lounges.  “The 1905 Basin Park Hotel has always been known as Eureka’s ‘people’s hotel’ and this total restyling keeps true to that standard,” Moyer concluded, “by being downtown’s only full-service hotel with a 24-hour front desk, a resort activity host, free parking, bellmen service, hotel shuttle, and our Balcony Restaurant.”
